Following the inaugural Collingwood Arts Precinct “Open day” in March earlier this year, at which in excess of 250 people attended, we are delighted to announce our second “Open Day”, a walking tour of ACGA member (and associated) galleries located within the thriving locale of Collingwood.
Commencing at Catherine Asquith Gallery, guests will then be escorted to each gallery, on a progressive 25minute per gallery, tour. Assorted refreshments, artist and gallery director talks, and guest lecturers will all be part of this exciting mini festival.
Spanning an approximate 3.5 hour walking tour, but importantly all within a 500m/2 block radius, the extraordinary breadth and diversity of artwork on display in each gallery will allow for a vibrant, engaging and stimulating arts event.
An enjoyable leisurely afternoon which is also informative and educational, CAP’s “Open Day” is a wonderful opportunity to fully savour outstanding, contemporary art.
